About the only bit of good news for fantasy owners is the four teams on bye (Panthers, Colts, Jets, 49ers) don’t upset the RB rankings too much. If anything, not feeling “forced” to start Frank Gore or Bilal Powell might be a relief to some.
The RB2/3 tier of our rankings are especially tough, as the “talent vs. touches vs. matchup” argument can easily lead to second guessing whether Lamar Miller or Jamaal Williams or Samaje Perine or Alfred Morris or Kenyan Drake or Doug Martin deserves to be higher. Honestly, there’s a flip-a-coin feeling to this group, but things should clear up somewhat throughout the week as we dig deeper into the numbers and get reports on expected usage.
