It’s also important to remember that receptions don’t account for all of the points in PPR. Yardage and TDs still matter – especially the latter – so you still need to take that into account when you’re considering benching a guy like Derrick Henry. Every decision has to be a sensible one. Don’t just throw Nyheim Hines into the lineup instead of a guy like Henry just because Hines catches more passes. Look at all aspects of the game and then make a decision that makes sense (and in this case, we believe it makes more sense to start Henry because he has scored four times in the past three weeks).

Week 11 Standard Rankings:Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | Kicker

Heading into Week 11, the team that has allowed far and away the most receptions to RBs has been the Falcons. Atlanta has allowed 84 catches to RBs through just nine games this season, and they were just dismantled by the duo of Duke Johnson and Nick Chubb. That should bode well for Ezekiel Elliott’s chances this week.

Other teams that allow a high volume of receptions include the Colts (7.9 per game), the Chiefs (7.5), and the Redskins (6.9). That should open up some opportunities for Dion Lewis, Todd Gurley, and Lamar Miller, respectively, to take advantage of leakier defenses against RBs. Lewis sees the biggest jump as a result of this, as he moves into low-end RB1 territory for this week’s contest thanks to his volume in all aspects of the game.
