MORE FANTASY FOOTBALL: Starts/Sits | Podcast | ‘Most Hated’ list

QUARTERBACKS

1 p.m.: Tony Romo, Cowboys (back) ACTIVE vs. Jaguars. Romo practiced in full on Friday and is set to start against the Jaguars in London. Whether he’s as effective as usual remains to be seen, but this is good news for his and Dez Bryant’s fantasy owners.

MNF: Nick Foles, Eagles, (shoulder) out vs. Panthers. Foles is out for at least six weeks and won’t be a fantasy factor moving forward in the vast majority of leagues.

RUNNING BACKS

1 p.m.: Mark Ingram (ACTIVE, shoulder), Khiry Robinson (INACTIVE, forearm) and Pierre Thomas (INACTIVE, rib, shoulder), Saints vs. 49ers. Both Thomas and Robinson have been ruled out, but Ingram is fully expected to play despite his limited Friday practice session. Even against a tough defense, Ingram needs to be in your lineup this week.

1 p.m.: Doug Martin (ankle), Buccaneers INACTIVE vs. Falcons.

1 p.m.: Charles Sims (ankle), Buccaneers ACTIVE vs. Falcons. Sims is expected to see 8-10 touches in his NFL debut.

1 p.m.: Reggie Bush, Lions (ankle) ACTIVE vs. Dolphins. The Dolphins are a tough opponent, but Bush has practiced in full this week and should be as healthy as he’s been in a while. He’s a solid flex play.

1 p.m.: Lamar Miller, Dolphins (shoulder) ACTIVE at Lions. Miller is expected to be limited, so we could see more of Daniel Thomas.

1 p.m.: Frank Gore, 49ers (hip) ACTIVE at Saints. Gore is expected to play, but his upside remains low regardless of his health.

1 p.m.: Fred Jackson, Bills (groin) ACTIVE vs. Chiefs. He should get a fair amount of carries along with Boobie Dixon and Bryce Brown.

4:05 p.m.: Montee Ball, Broncos (groin) INACTIVE at Raiders. Ball was limited in Friday’s practice, clouding his chances of playing on Sunday. The Broncos have a late game, so fantasy owners should look elsewhere for an RB or flex.

4:25 p.m.: Rashad Jennings, Giants (knee) INACTIVE at Seahawks. Jennings didn’t travel with the team to Seattle. Andre Williams will get another start for the G-Men.

4:25 p.m.: Stepfan Taylor, Cardinals (calf) INACTIVE vs. Rams. This is good news for Andre Ellington owners as Taylor won’t be around to vulture a score. Ellington may still have to contend with Marion Grice around the goal line, but one competitor is better than two.

WIDE RECEIVERS

1 p.m.: Sammy Watkins, Bills (groin) ACTIVE vs. Chiefs. Watkins could be used in a smaller/decoy role, so don’t be surprised if his output is modest.

1 p.m.: Calvin Johnson, Lions (ankle) ACTIVE vs. Dolphins.

1 p.m.: Vincent Jackson, Buccaneers (knee) ACTIVE vs. Falcons. Jackson practiced in full on Friday and will suit up Sunday.

1 p.m.: Cecil Shorts III (hamstring), Marqise Lee (ankle) both ACTIVE vs. Cowboys. A few less targets for Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns.

4:25 p.m.: Doug Baldwin, Seahawks (groin) ACTIVE vs. Giants. Baldwin returned to practice Thursday and Friday and has been declared “ready to roll” by coach Pete Carroll.

TIGHT ENDS

1 p.m.: Lions’ Eric Ebron (hamstring), Joseph Fauria (ankle) both INACTIVE vs. Dolphins. Brandon Pettigrew will start for Detroit.

SNF: Martellus Bennett, Bears (ribs) questionable at Packers. Bennett didn’t practice on Friday, but declared that he will “probably” play on Sunday night. Fantasy owners run some risk relying on Bennett, and should have some sort of emergency plan if he’s inactive.

QUESTIONABLE

Giovani Bernard, RB, Bengals (ribs). BenJarvus Green-Ellis would get the bulk of the RB touches if Bernard is out. Cedric Peerman would likely be the change-of-pace back.

Roddy White, WR, Falcons (ankle, hamstring). Expected to play. If White has a setback on Sunday morning, Drew Davis will start in his place and Harry Douglas will once again see a lot of targets.

Trent Richardson, RB, Colts (ankle). Expected to play. Even if Richardson is active, he might cede more touches to Donald Brown. If Richardson is out, Brown is a legit RB2 in this favorable matchup.

Marques Colston, WR, Saints (knee). If Colston is out, expect Robert Meachem, Lance Moore and Kenny Stills to divvy up the extra targets.

Jimmy Graham, TE, Saints (foot, elbow). Expected to play. Benjamin Watson would start if Graham is out.

Jermaine Gresham, TE, Bengals (groin). Tyler Eifert would see more targets if Gresham is out.

Eddie Royal, WR, Chargers (foot). Expected to play. If Royal is out, Vincent Brown would see more targets.

DOUBTFUL

Brandon Jacobs, RB, Giants (knee, hamstring). Andre Brown and Peyton Hillis will likely split RB touches, though it’s unclear if one will be the designated “goal-line back” in Jacobs’ absence.

Miles Austin, WR, Cowboys (hamstring). Terrance Williams and Cole Beasely will continue to get more targets.

Robert Woods, WR, Bills (ankle). Expect Marquise Goodwin to see more snaps.

OUT

Darren McFadden, RB, Raiders (hamstring). Rashad Jennings will start, with Marcel Reece also seeing an increased role.

Arian Foster, RB, Texans (back). Ben Tate will start, but Dennis Johnson could see more carries because of Tate’s rib injury.

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers (collarbone). Seneca Wallace will start.

Michael Vick, QB, Eagles (hamstring). Nick Foles will start.

Percy Harvin, WR, Seahawks (hip). With Sidney Rice (knee) also out, look for Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin to get more targets.

Rey Maualuga, LB, Bengals (knee).

Lance Briggs, LB, Bears (shoulder).

Champ Bailey, CB, Broncos (foot).

PROBABLE (Only players who missed last week or were thought to be in danger of missing time earlier this week will be listed here.)

Jay Cutler, QB, Bears (groin).

EJ Manuel, QB, Bills (knee).

Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Cardinals (toe).

Dez Bryant, WR, Cowboys (back).
