Gameplay-wise, the trailer have fans more than a few hints at what to expect from the former project known as Skylight. In addition to character advancement and chasing a variety of loot, Wayfinder tasks players with entering areas called Lost Zones, which are randomized expeditions that players can customize using mutators as well as from augments and mods that the game adds as well. The game will also feature Cross Play and Cross Save as well as having a social space where players can interact, purchase housing, and group up to take on more challenging content that has yet to be announced.

While the game is slated for early access sometime in the Spring of 2023, interesting players have a chance to jump in as early as December 13 when Airship Syndicate is preparing to launch its first PC-only test. Considering this is Airship’s take on the MMO-style genre, Digital Extremes has partnered up to lend their expertise with the free-to-play elements as well as it experience with ever-changing community-driven titles considering how popular Warframe continues to be all these years later.

Wayfinder is launching in Early Access Spring 2023 for PC, PS4, and PS5.
