Appearing as a guest on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Scully was asked by the host to voice a home run Kimmel hit in a celebrity softball game several years back. Scully obliged, and because he’s Vin Scully, he made the moment . . . less awkward.
There was even a little story time as Scully built up to the big moment.
Scully said the Dodgers’ regular-season finale this year was his last game, so let’s savor this clip. Who knows if/when we’ll get to experience that voice and delivery again?
