There aren’t many players who, 30 years after making their debut in the NBA, still have a 20-minute rookie highlight reel worth watching. But of course Jordan’s is a can’t-miss, even with all the blurry, old footage.

Jordan had already inked a Nike deal as a rookie and came out with his Air Jordan shoes. He was well on his way to being the most famous athlete on the planet. It’s funny to imagine at one point Michael Jordan wasn’t a household name, but hearing the announcers describe him then is hilarious.
“…Michael Jordan, not Jackson,” said one reporter. “He doesn’t wear one white glove. He wears strange looking sneakers and he soars through the air. And he has shot to stardom already, although still in his first month as a professional with the Chicago Bulls.”
Yep, that’s the GOAT.
