Microsoft’s Huge Claim for It’s Edge Browser
You’d think such a huge claim would appear on a big announcement on Microsoft’s blogs, but the reveal was a lot more humble than that. WinCentral discovered a job listing on Microsoft Careers that used the statistic as a selling point to attract a principal software engineer (emphasis ours):

Microsoft Is Slowly Edging Toward Google Chrome
While Chrome is still sitting on its lofty throne as the most-used browser in the world, Microsoft Edge is determined to change that. Will the browser have what it takes to beat the browser it’s based on?
