Infuse solves the problem with its ability to access and play almost any kind of media format including AVI, WMV, and more. It can also connect with UPnP/DLNA apps such as Plex, Kodi (XBMC), Serviio, WMC, PS3 Media Server, and others to browse, stream, and download videos.

Stream Almost Anything

Infuse helps users get more out of their existing media libraries. If you have a large collection of movies and TV shows in numerous formats stored on various networked devices across your office or home, Infuse consolidates all that content into one easy-to-reach place.

Infuse can find and handle media stored on almost anything, including a Mac, PC, NAS, wireless drive, or a server app such as Plex, Kodi, or Serviio. Any local devices will be detected in seconds, making setup a snap. There’s no need to transcode content between formats; just point the app toward where your videos are stored and it will catalog them for you, even adding artwork and pertinent details. It then makes all your content available in its slick, attractive Library view, which offers an interface very much like what you’re used to seeing in iTunes movies.

Additional Features

Additional features include detailed movie information along with folder and catalog support. Infuse also incorporates powerful Spotlight search and Smart Filters to help you browse content by genre, rating, release date, and more, as well as your own content ratings using the Trakt system.

Smart Filters let you create and keep search results on the app’s home screen, which means you can gather collections such as children’s movies or unwatched movies and access them easily via the Siri Remote. Add your own artwork to movies or shows using a built-in artwork selector. There’s also subtitle support and much more.

Infuse 6.2 offers new support for creating playlists, a loop and shuffle feature for all your content, more external storage, and other improvements.
