In October, the NCAA granted Mount St. Joseph a waiver to move up their first basketball game of the season so Hill, who is not expected to survive much longer, would be able to play.

On Sunday, the Lions took on Hiram College at The Cintas Center ont he campus of Xavier University. Tickets for the game sold out shortly after they went on sale , but luckily, a few luminaries were able to snag seats for the special event.
But before that, be sure to watch video of Hill’s first basket of the season. it will give you chills.
Legendary Tennessee women’s basketball coach Pat Summit, who is battling early onset Alzheimer’s diease, is on hand and will present Hill with an award in Summitt’s name.
Ohio’s native son LeBron James is scheduled to be in attendance as well, along with WNBA star Tamika Catchings.
Even those not in attendance showed support for Hill, like Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine, Deon Still and Candice Parker.
