Looking at last year’s fantasy points per game (FPPG) allowed to TEs can only help us so much. After all, a lot has changed since last year. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen any of those changes on the field yet, so we’re pretty much flying blind. Most of the top matchups belong to tight ends who are already safely locked into starting lineups (George Kittle, Travis Kelce, Zach Ertz, Andrews), but a few sleeper TEs (Jared Cook, Noah Fant, Ian Thomas) get slight matchup-related boosts....

There are a few guys we’re high on this week who may fall into more of the sleeper category than usual. Jordan Reed has a great matchup with the Buccaneers, and he’s a top-five play this week as a result. Further down, Ben Watson (Saints @ Bengals) has a great matchup against Cincinnati and is coming off his best game of the season where he looked like a productive weapon against the Rams....
